We feel that the new Shellharbour Marina is probably the best marina on the east coast of Australia. It’s design and layout is secure in all conditions with all the latest equipment including WIFI throughout. The onshore facilities are also excellent with ensuite amenities and a great selection of restaurants, cafes, ice cream shop – and a big Woolworths in the marina complex. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the business felt like a family business – not part of a chain. It is a 20-minute scenic walk into the pretty town of Shell Harbour where there is also a good selection of shops and eating places. This is a marina to linger in for a while.

The marina is beautiful, and we very much enjoyed staying with you. We hope to stay with you again on our trip back North sometime in April.

Thank you.  We were extremely impressed with the Shellharbour marina. The facilities are the best we have encountered, and the staff were exemplary from start to finish. We particularly liked the lounge, shower and laundry facilities, although we only needed the showers on this quick stay. The restaurant was good and the prices reasonable. I found the Shellharbour marinas staff to be friendly, helpful and forthright with a special mention to the lass who does the fuel.  The amenities were clean and adequate, my only minor problem was the shower floor doesn’t drain properly so there’s nowhere to sit and dry your feet. I would recommend your marina to other yachties.

Stayed for 2 nights on transit Sydney to Melb. Fantastic amenities friendly helpful staff. Really enjoyed it and had everything we needed – woolies – free laundry – fuel. Awesome 5 stars from us.

I enjoyed my second stay at the marina. Facilities were a major improvement on the earlier shower in the car park. A slight negative was the blocked ensuite basin that failed to empty for many weeks and a few times there were no available ensuites. Apart from that it’s been a great place to stay.

This was our second time visiting you this year and both times we’ve had an enjoyable stay. This time was for only one night as we are using the northerlies to get ourselves back home to Tassie. You are really well placed on the coast, a comfortable day sail from Sydney, a great all weather breakwater entrance and not far to get in and back out and underlay again. We really appreciate the friendly, helpful and professional nature of all the staff.

Thanks to you and your team for a wonderful visit to Shell Cove! It was great to finally visit after getting so close and then having to return to Cronulla last year due to technical issues! The facilities provided at the marina are second to none, with both the marina and amenities providing a wonderful respite from the ocean, and with the tavern within crawling distant, should provide a very attractive destination for your average sailor! Thanks again and hopefully see you again soon.

The stay with you was very pleasant short though it was. But I was impressed with the standard of facilities. The best thing was being in a berth that wasn’t a 600 meter walk to get off the dock for once which is usually what happens at other marinas.

Stayed on the way, made sure we visited again on the way back. Great marina, excellent staff & fantastic amenities. You’re highly recommended.

Hi, honestly it is the best Marina I have ever visited, it’s like Sanctuary Cove with the handy shopping and excellent restaurants, it was easy to navigate when I left at 4.30am this morning and the marina hardware and facilities are great. If it was closer to a protected waterway I would have my boat there permanently, I will make sure I stop in again when travelling through.

We found the facilities & services were great. Only feedback would be in the ensuite bathrooms there could be some towel hooks/rails within reaching distance of the showers and more hooks on the door for clothing/bags. We will definitely visit again when we are on our way back to Victoria.

We reached Shellharbour Marina on our intended trip to Queensland just before Easter. The booking in was simple and professional. The marina facilities were great. We had intended to be there for only a few days, but fate had other plans with our daughter having a semi elective Caesar a month early. Thankfully both are fine. Meanwhile, the pain in my left arm that I had been ignoring turned out to be a disc in my neck requiring quite major spinal surgery and rehab. During our few months absence we felt that the boat was safe and in good hands. I would like to thank all the staff there for their positive and helpful attitude.
PS I expect to return there mid 2025 all going to plan but who can tell!

Not only is it the best constructed marina I have ever seen, it is located in truly excellent land facilities, too, including a real sourdough baker (Glen!) and a superb Woolies (and many other businesses) only 20 metres from the water. The staff make the marina; a shout-out to Ben for the best customer service. Five stars from me.
